The Bay County Tourist Development Council funds the Beach city council requirement that all short-term rental units must post interior signs detailing the beach flag warning system and dangers of rip currents.
The signs are 8-by-10-inches, and in addition there are decals available that can be applied to mirrors or other glass surfaces.
The in-room signs will be available for all short-term rental units in the Tourist Development Council’s taxing district, although they will actually only be required within the Panama City Beach city limits.
The signs and decals are available now at the Visitor Information Center, at the intersection of Hwy 98 and State 79, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
