In addition to posting the status of the beach flag warning system on the website, VisitPanamaCityBeach.com, the City of Panama City Beach requires all short-term rental properties within the city limits to display a room sign advising guests of the flag warning system and rip tide information. The signs can be obtained from either the City of Panama City Beach or the Convention & Visitors Bureau. The Convention & Visitors Bureau also utilizes a real-time text messaging service advising the flag status.
The Panama City Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau will strive to keep our beaches safe by making every effort to promote awareness to both visitors and residents.
